Privacy Policy

Your media stays with you

The AudioXen website does not receive your app library, media, playlists, chord results or portable backups. App network use such as retrieving supported online media is separate from this website.

Download requests

When you request the APK, we process your email address, the time and version of your policy acceptance, the selected APK version, link expiry, email acceptance status and the first download-start timestamp. The download link is a bearer link: anyone holding it can use it until expiry.

Saved contact list and status history

After a valid download request passes consent and abuse checks, we keep your submitted email and individual request, email-send, download-start and subscription status history in a private owner contact list until you ask for deletion or the owner deletes it. Simply typing an address without submitting does not save it. This is separate from the 30-day download-link records. Available older contacts are included in the saved contact list. We do not infer inbox delivery, email opens, completed downloads or app installations.

Abuse prevention and retention

Detailed download-link records are retained for up to 30 days; the separate contact and status history remains until deletion. Rate-limit attempts are retained for up to 24 hours, using HMAC-derived email and IP identifiers. Anonymous aggregate email-acceptance and download-start counts remain after request cleanup. These counts do not measure installations or people.

Optional updates and newsletter

The download agreement does not subscribe you. If you check the optional signup box, the download email includes a separate confirmation link valid for 48 hours. Opening it alone does not subscribe you: press the confirmation button. Pending signup records expire after 48 hours and are removed during hourly cleanup. Confirmed records contain your email, request and confirmation times, and the policy version and hash, kept separately until you unsubscribe. Use the unsubscribe link on the confirmation page or in future newsletter emails; unsubscribing removes your active subscription and pending signup records. Your separate download contact and historical subscription status remain until deletion; they do not permit newsletter sending. Downloading remains available without subscribing.

Infrastructure and logs

HTTPS traffic passes through Cloudflare and the hosting provider. The download service uses our Mailu email server. Infrastructure providers process connection metadata under their own policies. Ordinary operational and mail logs can contain connection or recipient details. We do not add advertising trackers. Product updates and the newsletter require separate, optional email confirmation.

Your choices

Use the site without requesting a download if you do not want to provide an email. For access, correction or deletion of your saved contact and status history, contact [email protected]. Deletion from active records does not immediately remove records from protected operational backups, which are not used for marketing.
